“Day ‘n’ Nite” is the debut single by Hip hop artist Kid Cudi. It was produced by Dot Da Genius and released February 2008 on the A Kid Named Cudi mixtape but was leaked in December 2007 and was featured by many blogs in mid November 2008 credited to being featured on NBA Live 2009 and the 64th episode of the HBO’s series Entourage, both during the fall season.
In Europe, the remix by the Italian DJ duo Crookers, is much more popular than the original. The song’s released on 12 January in UK as both download and physical. It peaked at number 2 in the UK singles chart, being beaten off the top spot by Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” having retained its position for 3 weeks. The song also appeared within the top 10 in the Dutch iTunes charts.
The anticipated follow-up to her best-selling 2007 album Agent J, Butterfly is Jolin Tsai’s 10th studio album, and her first after signing with Warner Music. Always updating the visual style of her music, the trendy Taiwan pop diva previously incorporated yoga and pole dancing elements into her performances. This time, she employs some stunning acrobatic ballet routines in expressing the album’s motif: Be the brave and beautiful butterfly that you are!
Songs on the album include the titular dance anthem “Butterfly”, and other main plugs like “Real Man”, “My Reliance” and “Parachute”.

The most awarded Hong Kong singer in 2008, Canto-pop sensation Kay Tse seeks to defend the crown this year with a slew of new projects. After starring in her first movie Love Connected and providing Cantonese dubbing for the anime hit Ponyo on the Cliff, Kay is set to hold her first solo concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum in May, and release her new album titled Yelling before that. The new album contains 10 songs, including her first chart-topping hit in 2009, “Zhu Yingtai”, the second plug “Song of the Year”, the concert theme song “Yelling”, and the Mandarin version of her 2008 mega hit song “The Street of Wedding Invitation”, re-titled “Farewell Party”.
“Not Fair” is the second single recorded by Lily Allen for her second studio album It’s Not Me, It’s You. The single was released for digital download on March 20, 2009 and is due to be officially released on May 11, 2009.
In the song Allen describes the dilemma with her new and otherwise considerate boyfriend who is not pleasuring her sexually and she finds it ‘Not Fair’ because she really likes him, but not in the bedroom.
“We Walk” is the sixth and final single from The Ting Tings’ debut album We Started Nothing. According to The Ting Tings’ official Facebook profile, the single was released on February 23, 2009, just before the band’s UK Tour. “Fruit Machine” was set to be released two weeks before the release of “We Walk” as a download-only single, however, this was cancelled.
A clip of ‘We Walk’ became available on 6th February, on the band’s official Bebo profile. The music video was directed by Ben Ib. The video features Katie White and Jules De Martino walking in a park, with many doubles around them in frozen poses.
