“The Climb” is the fourth single from the soundtrack to the motion picture Hannah Montana: The Movie. The song will act as Cyrus’ debut single as a solo artist to country radio. The song will officially be released to the country format on March 9, 2009. As of February 2009, the song has charted on the Billboard Pop 100 chart. The song debuted at #48 on the Hot Country Songs chart for the chart week of March 14, 2009. A week later, the song debuted on Billboard Hot 100 at #6, giving Cyrus’ third top-ten U.S. single and to date, her highest charting U.S. single, surpassing Cyrus’ “7 Things” and “See You Again”.
