Its Idol visibility continued in 2010, when Crystal Bowersox performed it as her potential “coronation song” in the final round of American Idol season 9. Her performance of “Up to the Mountain” was well-received both on the show – judge Randy Jackson characterized it as “an amazing song by an amazing singer” and Cowell said “that was by far the best performance and the song of the night” – and off – MTV said she showed an unmistakable connection to the lyric, while The Boston Globe said her performance of this “great song” was the night’s only true highlight.

“The Truth” is a song by American recording arist Kris Allen, from his self-titled debut album. The song was written by Train frontman Pat Monahan and its producer, Toby Gad. The single version of the song, which features Monahan, was released as the album’s second single on May 11, 2010.
“If I Had You” is the third single by American recording artist and American Idol season eight runner-up Adam Lambert. It is the third radio single release off his debut album, For Your Entertainment.
No Boundaries
Here is Adam version of the single “No Boundaries”. It isn’t that great as Kris was, but I don’t know why they are releasing the same version of the single twice this year when they didn’t do it in the past, weird.
