“Bulletproof” is the third single by south London duo La Roux from their upcoming debut album La Roux. The song was released in digital and physical format on 22 June 2009, from two labels, Polydor and Kitsuné Music. The song was written and produced by both members of La Roux. Vocalist Elly Jackson told the BBC: “For me Bulletproof is just about looking at a situation that’s usually a reoccurring one. It could be to do with anything in your life – whatever you want it to be about.”
“Bulletproof” made its debut on the UK Singles Chart on June 28, 2009 at number one. The song also debuted at number ten in Ireland, outpeaking La Roux’s previous single In For The Kill in both countries.
